WHEN SHOULD WE PUT UP OUR CHRISTMAS TREES?

Typically, I take Black Friday to put my tree up; I usually have a four day weekend, it's the day after Thanksgiving, and a perfect time for me to bake holiday cookies, and get my home ready for a holiday season.

But this may not be the most popular tradition. I read an article that said in Victorian times, people put up their trees on Christmas Eve. Not very popular these days; but another tradition that started was putting up the tree 12 days before Christmas.

What do you think? Is Black Friday too soon?

THE BIGGER QUESTION?

The bigger question is; when should we take the tree down? I feel like the tree represents hope, joy and happiness. I don't take my tree down until after New Years Day.  I feel like we need to celebrate through the winter, and that's how I get through.
