What Makes The Perfect Morning Brew in MN?

Coffee. I don't know what it is about coffee, but many of us start our day with a cup or two of really good joe.

This morning, I woke up at 3:45 am. I was wide awake and ready to go. Energized, I went through the morning getting chores done..Cats fed. Dog fed. Dishes done. Coffee? Hey! I've got time to make coffee this morning. I attempted to make a delicious coffee. 16 ounces of coffee mixed with my white chocolate creamer.

Getting to work early, I was excited to get my day started. I took a sip of my coffee just before my last turn to work and was disgusted. My coffee was too dark. There was something about the dark with the creamer that just didn't do it for me. It tasted...skunky. Ugh. I was so bummed.

WHAT MAKES FOR A GOOD CUP OF COFFEE FROM HOME?

My question to you today is: What makes for a good cup of coffee for YOU? The dark roast didn't make it for me with the creamer. I think maybe I need a more 'middle of the road' flavor.

I got up extra early this morning and made myself some coffee that my sons had in the cupboard. I added my white chocolate flavoring and went on my way. Then I took a sip in the car, and it tasted like skunk. I had to stop at a coffee shop and get something tolerable. What kind of coffee do you make at home? Just curious???? ~Kelly

Plain regular soldiers or maxwell house is good coffee. Oh! and not to mention Folgers black silk is my absolute favorite.
