The National Weather Service is saying that confidence is increasing that 1-2 inches of precipitation will be widespread across Central Minnesota this weekend. Here's the problem, 1-2 inches of rain could equate to 12-24 inches of snow.

This far out there is clearly a large level of uncertainty as to the track and timing of this storm. Stay tuned to 98.1 for the latest forecast updates.

From the National Weather Service tonight: Still uncertainty with this weekend system, but it’s looking like most locations will see 1 to 2 inches of precipitation. How much falls as rain or snow remains to be seen. Areas to the north have a better chance of mostly snow, while areas to the south have a better chance of mostly rain.
