The National Weather Service says a significant winter storm will impact Minnesota this weekend -- with some areas getting rain, some snow, and others an icy mix.

The storm is expected to impact the area late Friday through Monday, with Saturday and Sunday setting up as the days that will see the highest impacts.

Forecast models differ this far out, as some are calling for rain across the St. Cloud area, while others say 6+ inches of snow is on the way.
