We are getting a weekend of warm temperatures and fairly clear skies. That means central Minnesotans are seeking ways to get out and celebrate. The question is, where should we all go? What do you like to do? We've compiled a list of fun events happening around the area that can turn your boring weekend into one to remember.

BREWS AND BLOOMS FESTIVAL -SUNKEN SHIP BREWING  PRINCETON

I know where I'm going to be this weekend. I'll be enjoying the fun at the Brews & Blooms Festival in Princeton at Sunken Ship Brewing. The event is the first annual event and will be taking place in the parking lot of Sunken Ship. This is a family event that will feature fun activities for your children, including activities, games, and Alpacas from Triple T Alpacas! There will also be live music on the patio all afternoon. The event starts at 11 am and goes all afternoon.

Plus, you'll have a lot of things to do. There will be over 45 Minnesota Crafters and Vendors on hand. Some of the items that will be for sale include handmade jewelry, lamps, glass art, paintings, a hat bar, flannels, freeze-dried candies, honey, homemade lotions, soaps, sourdough, and lots more.

Don't forget to enjoy some tasty food from the food trucks that will be there as well. Top It Anyway, Buddy's Burritos & Bowls, and Smashed Cow will all be on hand to feed your cravings.

 

GRAND RE-OPENING OF NICE AXE IN ST CLOUD

If you have no fear of throwing axes, you might want to come and enjoy the grand re-opening of Nice Axe in St. Cloud. The new location in the Midtown Square Mall has lots more space for axe-throwing groups, as well as arcade games. Whether you're a beginner or professional, Nice Axe is the place to be.

If you've never tried axe throwing before, this event will be perfect event for you. There will be content creators helping you with your axe throwing, plus there will be lots of giveaways and fun activities. The grand re-opening will be taking place on Saturday, May 31st, from 1 pm until 5 pm.

FOLEY CRAFT & CHORD FEST IN FOLEY

The Central MN Theatre in Foley will be having their Foley Craft & Chord Fest this Saturday, May 31st, at 6774 Hwy 25 South in Foley. The event is free to attend.

All the fun will start at 11 am and continue until 7 pm Saturday night.  Some of the crafters that will be on hand will include

There will also be performances all day long by local artists, including Benjamin Raye,  Tom Mobry, Kat Kroska, and MJGD. There will also be an open house for Central MN Theatre's new studio. Plus, you will get an in-person preview of their June 12 Auction.
