Want To Try One Of Minnesota’s Best Places For A Burger?
With the warmer weather we are going to be seeing it's time for a road trip to explore all that Minnesota has to offer. If you are looking for one of the best places to grab a burger, you've got to hit the road and travel just South of the metro. A tiny town, sitting not to far from Hastings, holds what could be the best place to get a burger in the whole state. King's Place in Miesville might have some of the most delicious hamburgers in the land of 10,000 lakes.
If you've never heard of King's Place you aren't alone, it's located in the very small but friendly town of Miesville, 40 miles south of the Twin Cities. King's Place has been serving up its legendary burgers since 1984.
The hype about these burgers is real, as King's Place has won numerous awards for their burgers.
King’s Bar and Grill prides itself on using the freshest ingredients in all of our food, creating irresistible and memorable burgers. Catering to bikers, skiers, farmers, hikers and everyone in between, King’s Bar and Grill has been rated “Best Twin Cities Burger” by Food Gnawledge, and “Best Burgers in MN” by TripAdvisor. We’ve also claimed coverage from Fox 9, Pioneer Press and KARE 11.
King's original owner Jerry Greenlee, recently passed away, and seeing the obituary notice made me think about King's Place.
Here’s to Jerry! His favorite meal here is on special! An open faced cheeseburger with French fries covered in nacho cheese! Pair it up with a Hamms on tap or in a can. He was one of a kind and will be missed by so many!
While Jerry has passed away, his successful business lives on with another two generations of Greenlee's running the business.
You can find King's Place at 14460 240th St E, in Miesville. You can also learn more about the bar by visiting their website, which you can find here.
