WHAT IS THE VEX ROBOTICS PROGRAM?

February 2nd & 3rd of 2018, St. Cloud Technical & Community College hosts the largest Robotics Tournament in the State of Minnesota, with 60 High school, 40 Middle School and 50 Elementary school teams all gathering at the Rivers Edge Convention Center for the VEX Robotics State Championship. If your kids seem to have an interest in legos, machines, or computers, These teams are the best and brightest in Minnesota, and they have been competing in local events across the state to earn a State invite. The kids involved focus on true sportsmanship, team work, design; They even step up to the plate to help their competitors.

THE TOURNAMENT

The teams will compete in 7 qualification matches in 2 days before they move on to the elimination. There , the new State Champions will be crowned and get an invitation to compete in the World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky in April.

The State Championship is free to attend and everyone is welcome.

ADULT & STUDENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The event takes over a hundred volunteers to make it successful. If you would like to attend and help out, no experience is necessary to volunteer; just the ability to give some time to help our future problem solvers.

You can also sign up for multiple positions as long as they are not at conflicting times.

Volunteers get a free T-shirt and will be fed. Volunteers need to lined up before January 13th.
