USA Men’s Hockey Advances, Russians Eliminated

The American Men's hockey team extended their Sochi Olympic record to 4-0 after defeating the Czech Republic 5-2 today in quarterfinal action today. The U.S. Men now face Canada at 11:00 am CT Friday in the semifinals. The USA/CAN winner will face the winner of Finland vs. Sweden in the gold medal game at 6:00 CT Sunday morning.

In what is seen as an enormous blow to their program, the Russian Men's hockey team was eliminated from any medal contention, falling to Finland earlier today 3-1.

The U.S. Women will play for the gold medal tomorrow morning vs. Canada at 11:00 am CT.

USA! USA! USA!  Good luck to the women. They are crazy-dominant & fun to watch.
