The U.S. Women's Soccer team will face Germany in the World Cup semifinals tonight in Montreal at 6 CT PM on FOX. Japan and England face off tomorrow evening in the other semifinal match -- with the winners playing for the 2015 FIFA title Sunday at 6 PM CT back on FOX.

Tonight will be the seventh time that The U.S. Women have appeared in a World Cup semifinal game. Here are some Team USA nuggets:

  • Since allowing a goal against Australia in its opening match on June 8 in the 27th minute, the U.S. has shut down opponents for 423 straight minutes.
  • The USA has allowed 13 shots on goal over the 450 minutes of action so far and allowed just one against Sweden and two against Nigeria, Colombia and China.
  • So far, 19 of the 20 U.S. players on the World Cup roster have seen action in the tournament.
  • Forward Abby Wambach leads the U.S. with six goals in 2015.

USA! USA! USA!
