Twins Strike Deal With Catcher Kurt Suzuki

Suzuki, a Hawaii native, has played seven seasons in Major League Baseball. During his career, Suzuki has a .253 average and an on base percentage of just .309. Suzuki allowed the most base-stealers in 2011.

Suzuki is expected to platoon with returning Twins catcher Josmil Pinto following Joe Mauer's move to first base in 2014.
