MY FAVORITE ARTIST IN THE WORLD IS PERFORMING AT THE ORPHEUM

Trisha Yearwood...I still remember the first time I heard her voice on the radio. "She's in Love with they Boy"...a smash hit for Trisha that launched her career.

As it would have it, her drummer for many years was Rick McClure, a drummer from West Liberty KY, whom I got to know through my guitar player husband Tim, back in the day.

MY TRISHA YEARWOOD REHEARSAL EXPERIENCE

Rick let me come to a Trisha rehearsal in Nashville. I was working on getting my record deal at the time... It was at a huge auditorium...and the only people in on the rehearsal were me, the stage crew, and the band. It was such a cool experience.

After the rehearsal, I was able to meet Trisha at a local restaurant. She was wearing these little tiny round light blue sunglasses, and was sitting at a table when Rick introduced me to her. Of course, I made a fool out of myself...gushing on how much I loved her voice. She was super nice and down to earth.

FAST FORWARD TO THIS YEARS GARTH & TRISHA PHONER

This year, Pete & I were interviewing Garth Brooks before he came to St. Cloud for his tour...and I told him how much I loved his wife.  He then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to talk with her, and put her on the call!

Here is the interview from December of 2018:

If you love Trisha as much as I do, you can see her up close and personal next Saturday, November 9th at the Orpheum Theatre.
