May 15 is bike to work day but it also holds a very special history for the Saint Paul Saints. According to Minnesota History's website, on this date in 1896, the Saint Paul Saints played their first game at Aurora Park and won the game!

The team at the time was a Western League professional team. They beat out the Grand Rapids Yellow Jackets with a score of 17-0. Not too bad! The team still exists and thrives today playing games at CHS field.

Most recently the team signed former major league player left-handed pitcher Pedro Hernandez.
