This New Club in Minnesota Brings New Meaning to BYOB it’s BYOP
How would you like to attend a club that is members only, they have dues - fees, you hang out, maybe listen to some music, have a few snacks, and have the opportunity to smoke weed?
Here's the thing - if you choose to partake in the weed portion, you have to bring your own. Even though it's legal to have and smoke recreational marijuana, it is still not legal for dispensaries to sell it unless it's on a reservation.
This club will be located in North Minneapolis.
MAC Social Club will open on the second floor of 1914 N Washington Ave. above Bar Brava.
By the way, those fees (dues) are not cheap either. According to Bring Me the News, the yearly membership fee is $420. You do have the option to pay monthly if that is something that you might consider. The monthly membership dues are $69. That includes access to Meet the Grower events, there are some infused dinners offered, those could be fun, and you can meet and get involved with a network of cannabis entrepreneurs.
The club did have a soft opening over the weekend, and will have normal hours beginning tomorrow, January 7th. The hours will be Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 11pm.
The regular retail sales of cannabis is expected later this year. Exactly when hasn't been determined.
