I guess we just had to repeat the, "There's no place like home!" mantra for 13 years.

In 2005, some jerk(s) waltzed into the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, MN, and stole a pair of the iconic ruby red slippers worn by Minnesotan Judy Garland in the classic film The Wizard of Oz. They were one of four pairs used in the film.

The case has stumped investigators for 13 years. Was it jerk kids that stole them? Was it a jerk adult with a hankerin' for iconic shoes?

The FBI says that they've finally found the stolen slippers. A press conference is scheduled for 1pm (central) today, so hopefully we'll find out where the slippers have been...perhaps, somewhere over the rainbow?

I'll show myself out.
