Did you watch Yellowstone? How about 1883? 1923? The Wild West has certainly touched a never with people all across the US, and now those people want to visit and experience the West for themselves. , especially the locations where filming has taken place. But if you want a real vacation to enjoy what these states are all about, I spoke to Amy Zenzen from Bursch Travel, who sent me some great information on places to visit for what they are calling the 'Cowboy Core Travel Trend.'

WYOMING

In Wyoming, you are going to enjoy wildlife like bears, elk, bison, moose, antelope, bobcats, and lots and lots of cattle. Fun Fact: Fewer people live in Wyoming than in any other state in the US! While you are in Wyoming, make sure to plan a visit to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. You'll get to see geysers, wildlife, and colorful canyons, plus it's a great place to hike.

MONTANA

A Montana Ranch was the focus of the series Yellowstone, so it could be the place you want to take a trip to. Wildlife in Montana outnumbers people, and it is home to Glacier National Park. There are many guest ranches and resorts, plus lots to do for city life.

Whether you want to explore historic sites or go skiing, canoeing, or golfing, you can do it all in Montana.

NEBRASKA

I have been lucky enough to have a family trip with my parents to visit the great parks in Montana and Wyoming, but I don't believe I've been to Nebraska. What does Nebraska have to offer?

The state has open plains that stretch for miles and miles and miles. They have natural rock formations, giant dunes, and lots of places to hike, bike, or ride horseback on, like the 192-mile recreational route 'Cowboy Trail,' which follows a railroad and bridges.

You'll also want to visit one of Nebraska's most popular landmarks Chimney Rock, and for something unique, the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum.

If you need help planning a trip, I'm sure Amy would be happy to help you!
