This St. Patrick's weekend is all about music as the traditional Irish music group, Ring of Kerry, performs with the St. Paul Irish Dancers, guitar wizard Shaun Hopper visits the Paramount, an award-winning Ukrainian pianist will walk you through some of the most famous piano sonatas in history, and the St. Cloud Symphony Ochestra celebrates their 40th anniversary. Ring of Kerry and the St. Paul Irish Dancers return to the Paramount Theatre in what's becoming a St. Patrick's Day tradition in St. Cloud. St. Paddy's Day falls on a Thursday this year, but you can extend it on Friday with two shows of traditional Irish music and dancing celebrating the Emerald Isle. Tickets for both shows start at $18.

Shaun Hopper
Paramount Theatre
Acoustic guitar maestro Shaun Hopper will entertain the crowd at the Paramount Theatre in downtown St. Cloud this weekend. Hopper is a veritable guitar wizard, as his "fingerstyle" technique ranges from classic rock and blues to new age and pop -- even music from Super Mario Brothers. Tickets for this one-night show start at $15.

Margaryta Golovko: History of the Piano Sonata 101

Ukrainian pianist Margaryta Golovko will hold a free event at the Paramount Theatre on Sunday. The History of the Piano Sonata 101 is the latest installment of the Paramount's 101 Series. Golovko, winner of the 2014 Midwest International Piano Competition, will walk the audience through the development of the piano sonata form while performing some of the most famous pieces along the way.

You can join the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra at their concert this weekend at Ritche Auditorium commemorating their 40th anniversary. The Anniversary will include performances of works by Stravinsky, Brahms, Faure, and Beethoven. A gathering and discussion with Maestro Clinton Smith will take place before the concert. Tickets for this celebratory concert start at $25 with discounts for seniors and students.

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof

The classic American drama, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, continues its three-week run at Pioneer Place in downtown St. Cloud. The Pulitzer Prize-winning play penned by Tennessee Williams explores the rocky relationship between a married couple as they visit the husband's wealthy, dying father. The play was adapted into a classic 1958 film starring Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor.
