This weekend is a celebration of music as two events are dedicated to the work of The Beach Boys -- Justin Ploof and the Throwbacks at Pioneer Place, and Collective Unconscious at the Paramount Theatre, country music star Rodney Atkins comes to Grand Casino Mille Lacs, the St. Cloud String Quartet teams up with the Central Minnesota Youth Orchestra at the Paramount and the hilarious and award-winning Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon, begins its run at the Orpheum Theatre.     Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary Concert

    More love for The Beach Boys is going on at the Paramount Theatre in downtown St. Cloud as Collective Unconscious celebrates the 50th anniversary of the benchmark rock album, Pet Sounds. In 1966, The Beach Boys changed music and studio albums forever with Pet Sounds, featuring numerous classics including "Sloop John B.", "Wouldn't It Be Nice,", and "God Only Knows". You can join the local band, Collective Unconscious, for a night of "good vibrations" starting at $25.

    The Book of Mormon
