The Weekender: Holiday Entertainment Season Begins!
This weekend will be full of holiday-centric entertainment with the opening week of GREAT Theatre's Best Christmas Pageant Ever!, Donnie and Marie will get you in the spirit of the season at Mystic Lake, the Zonta Christmas House kicks off its 26th year, and the Nuncrackers Nunsense Christmas Show continues in Cold Spring, and not to mention the king of Elvis performers visits Pioneer Place. GREAT Theatre: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!
Paramount TheatreHoliday hilarity will ensue at the Paramount Theatre in the coming weeks as GREAT Theatre's production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever hits the stage. The show tells the story of the rambunctious Herdman kids, considered a terror of teachers, parents and fellow students, as they land major roles in the Christmas pageant. You can get tickets for this hilarious and heartfelt show for $19 with discounts for seniors and children.

Elvis: '68 Comeback to '70s Splendor
Pioneer PlaceOne of the most renowned Elvis Presley performers will hit the Pioneer Place stage as Anthony Shore presents Elvis: '68 Comeback to '70s Splendor. Shore has been singing as Elvis since the age of 16 and has garnered several awards for his spot-on performances. You can get tickets in advance to see The King of "The King" performers for $26 or pay $29 at the door.

Donnie and Marie Celebrating the Holidays
Mystic Lake CasinoShe's a little bit "country" and he's a little bit "rock'n'roll", but this weekend Donnie and Marie Osmond will be all about the holidays at Mystic Lake. The brother and sister duo will host a family-friendly show that features dancing, humor and performances of classic holiday songs. Tickets start at around $80 and are limited for both nights.

Zonta Christmas House
Sauk RapidsThe holiday season doesn't officially start in the St. Cloud area until the weekend before Thanksgiving when the Zonta Club hosts its annual Christmas House fundraiser. The public is invited out to an area home that is decorated by local designers to bring out the Christmas spirit. The event has allowed the Zonta Club to donate over $250,000 to area charities and scholarships since 1990. This year's Christmas House is located at 28 13th Street S in Sauk Rapids and an admission donation is $15 at the door. You can get your tickets in advance for $10 at Crafts Direct and area Coborn's and Cashwise locations.

Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical
The Great Blue Heron Supper ClubGreat Northern Theater Company is providing some hilarious holiday spirit with Nuncrackers: The Nunsense Christmas Musical. The sisters of Mt. St. Helen's will have you in stitches as they tape their first TV Christmas special with the help of some of their students. The show's final weekend at the Great Blue Heron in Cold Spring. Each show is preceded by a social hour and dinner. Tickets start at $35 and are selling fast!
