    Aquila Theatre "1984"

    St. Cloud

George Orwell's cautionary novel 1984 comes to the Paramount Theatre stage this weekend. Aquila Theatre is bringing this classic novel to life. Written in 1944 near the end of World War II, 1984 depicts a society controlled by a perfectly totalitarian government bent on repressing all subversive tendencies, which suits Aquila's bold, ensemble driven, physical style of storytelling. Tickets for the show are $36 for general admission. Show time is Friday at 7:30 p.m.
