The Ultimate Dad Store Will Open Soon in Minnesota

A dad is only as dad as his New Balance shoes. This is a Dad Fact. You're not legally allowed to mow a lawn, grill a burger, or change the oil unless you're sporting at least one pair (don't argue). I wear my 1540 V3s with pride (and because the built-in rollbars keep my janky hips in alignment).

A New Balance store is set to open soon in Edina this fall. It could be the ultimate Dad Store if it also sold grilling accessories and shop towels.

New Balance is finally bringing a full store to the Twin Cities. It promises "trend-forward" shoes (whatever that means), as well as:

• clothing
• accessories (grilling gear and shop towels??)
• stuff for women and children, too (okay, I guess)

The store will open in the former Soft Surroundings space at the Galleria Mall in Edina.
