I enjoyed watching the The Swon Brothers perform on The Voice and I'm really liking their debut album.

Zach Swon said in a recent interview that they wanted each song on their album to be different but at the same time have a signature style that everyone knows belongs to them.  I truly believe they have achieved this with their first project.

It's one of the few where I enjoyed each and every song and where each song was different.  Later On has been one of my favorite songs to come out this year and I really like their latest song Pray For You.

Many of the songs on this album are upbeat, fun and laid back, much what I gather Zach and Colton's personalities to be like.  This definitely makes for a good road trip album.  However there are some more serious tracks, including my favorite song, This Side Of Heaven.  It's a beautiful tune about all the hard things we deal with in life and how it's all part of God's plan for us.  It doesn't hurt the guys that their friend, former classmate and fellow country singer, Carrie Underwood provides some amazing background vocals.

I'm not trying to wish time away but I'm excited to see what's next for Zach and Colton in terms of a sophomore album.  What they put together this time around is darn good and I think it will be interesting to see how they top it.
