The Cordes’ Awards -Meet Paula Woischke: A Leader In Senior Advocacy

WEEK 2 OF THE CORDES' AWARDS

It's the second week of the Cordes' Awards. The Cordes' Awards are a way for me to thank all of the great people in central Minnesota who have contributed and helped me find amazing guests and information for "It Matters with Kelly Cordes' on WJON from 10 to noon weekdays.

Last week, you had the chance to meet Jim Grabinski and Mike Smith, otherwise known as 'The Travel Guys' in central Minnesota. Jim and Mike stopped by the station many, many years ago, introduced themselves to me, and we quickly became great friends. Jim and Mike have not only shared their knowledge of world travel with us each week for the past several years, but they have also connected me with other fantastic people in our community. One of those people is our 2nd Cordes' Award winner.

CONGRATULATIONS PAULA WOISCHKE!

Paula Woischke is the Whitney Senior Center Director at Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud.

Paula graciously agreed to line me up with great guests throughout the area for our "Senior Spotlight" segment that happens on Thursdays from 11:40 until Noon.

I've been on the air with It Matters for over 10 years, and Paula has been assisting me for years, and in doing so, has helped me educate our seniors about the many programs and tools that can assist them in their senior years.
