"There's no such thing as bad publicity" ~ P.T. Barnum

That was (probably) originally said by a circus guy. So what better establishment to use that idea to DEATH like Waffle House?

Now, Waffle House has received its share of bad publicity over the years. Employees fighting customers? Check. Employees fighting employees? Check. Extreme uncleanliness? Check.

An employee falling asleep and a customer going into the kitchen and cooking himself a late-night meal? Check.

Meet Alex Bowen. He had a few drinks in South Carolina last Wednesday night and thought some late-night Waffle House sounded good. When he got there, he found the only employee working fast asleep at a table.

Did he wake the employee up? NOPE.

Alex went back into the kitchen and whipped himself up some grub, a "double Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with extra pickles."

He posted the ordeal on Facebook.

Did he get in trouble? So far, NOPE. Waffle House even apologized to Alex and suspended the employee.
