The Best Snow Tubing in MN is Less Than an Hour From St. Cloud

Usually by this time of year we have at least a little snow to play in. But it is Minnesota, it'll show up soon enough!

Turns out that the best snow tubing in Minnesota is less than an hour away from the St. Cloud area, 51 minutes to be exact! Elm Creek Reserve in Maple Grove is 4,900 acres of outdoor fun. In the warmer months there is hiking, disc golfing, biking, and swimming, and come winter, it is the hot spot for snow tubing.

There are over half a dozen separate tubing tracks that you can slide down as a group, or fly down solo. The best part, no walking up to the top of the hill. Just catch a ride on their handy lift! When you're all done, grab a cup of hot cocoa in the chalet.

In addition to the tubing they also have some beginner runs for skiers and snowboarders. Plenty of winter fun is to be had at Elm Creek Reserve in Maple Grove, all we gotta do is start wishing for some snow!
