Tonight's the opening of Summertime by George in St. Cloud, and we thought it would be cool to create an ongoing SBG photo album that lasts all summer long. Summertime by George kicks off tonight with the Chicago tribute band Transit Authority. We got a chance to talk with drummer Tim Ellis about the band, their roots, and thoughts about another year at Summertime by George.

Besides music Summertime by George offers a great variety of food, beverages, and shopping. Middle Town Market organizer Cindy Hawker says there are six new vendors this year, and some new services being offered for Summertime by George guests.

The music line-up has been announced for Summertime By George. The St. Cloud Rotary Club says the opening night on Wednesday, June 10th will feature Transit Authority. Other returning favorites include: the Johnny Holm Band, GB Leighton, and the Fabulous Armadillos.

The Saint Cloud Police Department is investigating a shooting incident near 7th Street South and 9th Avenue South - near the Summertime By George event.

Cindy & I officially kicked off summer last night in Eastman Park with thousands of others at the first night of 'Summertime By George' in St. Cloud. Seriously, S.B.G. is one of the coolest community events I have ever been to. It's 100% summer, fun, food, family, music, and neighbors.

Hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation... Metro Bus and local families need your help to “Fill the Flyer” this Wednesday during “Summertime by George” at Lake George.

The popular summer concert series “Summertime By George” is back for a second year. The first night is tomorrow (Wednesday) with the band The Revolution 5 playing music from the Beetles.

There's something really cool sweeping downtown areas all across the country. It's an open air walk about event that brings food, fun and people together in a street fair environment to highlight the downtown area as well as giving people a great reason to bring the whole family to downtown and enjoy everything there.
