The 2016 festival known as Town & Country Days kicks off today in Paynesville -- with the theme of 'The Land of Milk & Honey.' We'll see you in tonight's parade, and here's the schedule for the rest of the Paynesville events that run through Saturday.

A community meeting filled the Paynesville High School Auditorium this (Sunday) evening with a sense of healing, support and renewed hope in the Jacob Wetterling case. Patty and Jerry Wetterling formed the community event called "a night of sharing and healing" to connect with residents who's lives have been changed since Jacob Wetterling's abduction on October 22nd 1989.

A community meeting in Paynesville organized by Patty and Jerry Wetterling has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Sunday). The meeting is meant as a way to help central Minnesota residents cope with recent developments in their son’s case.

Vintage toy collectors are encouraged to make their way to Paynesville tomorrow (Saturday) for the 24th Annual Toy Show.

It goes without saying that any day is a great day for a parade - unless it is raining. That's exactly what happened during the Paynesville Town and Country Days Grand Parade, but that didn't stop our Paynesville neighbors from coming out to show their support!
