The Northern Lights are poised to take the stage for a spectacular show across the skies of Minnesota tonight & tomorrow night -- maybe. I say 'maybe' because the Northern Lights are fickle-- never coming with any guarantees. However it just might be worth staying up for. Here are some viewing tips:

I will be the first to admit, I'm not the smartest when it comes to science, space, astronomy, that kind of thing.  Just because I don't always know what I'm looking at doesn't mean I don't appreciate some of the beautiful things that happen in the sky.

This breathtaking new video from the International Space Station offers a rarely seen view of the Auroras from space. The Southern and Northern Lights are one of the most beautiful natural phenomenon in the world. So you can imagine how amazing they look while floating above the Earth.
