We had record rainfall in St. Cloud Monday. Officially at the St. Cloud Regional Airport, we had 1.32 inches, that breaks the old record of .83 inches that fell on that date in 2009.
We had another nearly half-inch of rain in St. Cloud Wednesday. The National Weather Service says the official total at the St. Cloud Regional Airport was .47 of an inch.
The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes that touched down in Mille Lacs County earlier this week. Scattered thunderstorms moved across central Minnesota on Monday night and those storms produced to brief tornadoes.
We had record rainfall in St. Cloud Sunday. The National Weather Service says we officially had 1.79 inches of rain, that breaks the old record for the date of 1.17 inches set back in 1942.
With a blizzard expected to hit this week, the National Weather Service is cancelling the statewide tornado drill for Thursday, but Stearns County and others will carry on.
