Elk River

In a post to Facebook, the Elk River Police Department shared a handwritten letter they received from one of their youngest citizens.

There will be fair food and different food trucks serving up great bites to eat, and there will be a scare zone haunted house attraction.

The Elk River Police Department noticed several residents still participating in group activities over the weekend which prompted them to take to social media.

Now that several of the area town festivals have come and gone, it's time to gear up for the county fair season.

The Pierz Pioneers (12-0) face St. Croix Lutheran Academy (12-0) this afternoon at 1 PM for the Class AAA football championship.
