PLACE OF HOPE

Place of Hope in St Cloud provides a hospitality center offering people in need free food, medical care, clothing, and personal care items. Place of Hope has been serving people for over 19 years.

IMAGINE

Many of us have never experienced what it is like to go through such hard times that we lose everything we own. Sometimes through no fault of their own, people find themselves in a position of having no income, which leads to a loss of their home and nowhere to turn.

CHILDREN SUFFER WHEN PARENTS NEED HELP

When this happens to people who also have children, it can become a terrible situation for everyone involved. That's why it is so important for us, as residents of central Minnesota, to try and do what we can to help support those in need until they can find their way to a better place. We hope that no one needs to be in this situation for long.

THE NEED FOR SHELTER

Place of Hope has provided shelter to people when other shelters are too full, and they've been trained for this purpose.

They also offer shelter in their Living Hope Center for those people coming off the street who are trying to break free from addiction and want a place to recover that can offer them a place where they can feel safe.

STRUCTURED PROGRAMMING THAT WORKS

Place of Hope has a very structured program and they work hard to provide hope, healing, and restoration for individuals and their families who are experiencing homelessness.

HOUSING UNITS

Place of Hope Ministries has a 31-unit apartment building, a supportive housing location close to the Living Hope Residential Center H.O.P.E (Housing Opportunities for People Being Empowered). This center was created for people who have lived long-term homelessness. An on-site coordinator helps those people living in this housing unit.
