Narvel Felts born on Veterans Day, November 11, 1938 in Keiser, Arkansas and raised in Bernie, Missouri.  Felts became known to many fans as “Narvel the Marvel” and enjoyed his greatest success throughout the 1970’s.  His first major hit came in 1973 when he covered Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away.”  Felt’s version hit number eight on the Billboard Magazine Hot Country Singles chart.

He also covered the remake of “Lonely Teardrops” and Willie Nelson’s “Funny How Time Slips Away.”  Felts is married to Loretta Stanfield, two children resulted from the marriage; their only son Narvel Jr passed away in 1995.  He currently lives in Malden, MO.  He continues to perform occasionally.
