State Patrol: Nearly 150 Crashes on Thursday Morning
UNDATED -- We didn't get a lot of snow Thursday morning, but it was enough to cause problems on our roads.
The Minnesota State Patrol says between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. they responded to a total of 146 crashes. Eighteen people were hurt in those crashes, but there were no serious injuries or fatalities.
Troopers also assisted with another 106 vehicles that needed to be pulled out of the ditch.

The State Patrol says I-35W Northbound 1 mile North of Highway 14 (South of Owatonna), there was a crash involving 20 passenger cars and 6 jackknifed semi’s. A detour is in place and they are working on clearing the lanes. No serious injuries only minor. Estimated reopening I-35 is noon
