I think I took my nurse by surprise at my physical this fall when I got my flu shot.

She told me to relax my arm, so I shook it out and let it fall to my side. She touched my shoulder and said, “you gotta relax a little more.” So I did the same thing again, and she gave me the flu shot. She took the needle out and said, “Sorry if that hurt, you were tense.” I told her I didn’t feel a thing and she replied with “oh, you must workout then.”

I do workout. Spark classes at Sta-Fit have been my go-to for over a year now and I love them -- not just for the results I’m seeing on my body, but how it’s improving my everyday life and overall health.

We are living in a world right now where staying healthy is more important than ever. No one wants to get sick and run the risk of infecting others. That’s why it’s so important to keep your immune system boosted with workouts that actually work.

Spark classes at Sta-Fit are just that.

Since I started Spark in June 2019, I have been healthier than ever, and have never felt stronger both mentally and physically.

Spark is perfect for me and my lifestyle, and they have adapted to be perfect for the world we are living in right now.

5 Reasons Spark is the Perfect Workout For This COVID World:

  1. It’s on your terms -- Whether you are just getting back on the workout wagon after taking some time off because of quarantine, or if you were doing home workouts and want to get back into a gym routine, Spark is for everyone. You use weights that you are comfortable with, and go at a pace that you control.
  2. You set up your own pod -- When you show up to class, there is a list of equipment you will need for that day’s program. You set up your own workout area with the sanitized equipment that only you will be touching and using.
  3. Plenty of room to social distance -- Currently, classes are being held on the basketball court at Sta-Fit Midtown, which offers plenty of room to spread out and stay over six feet apart. Soon, classes will be at the tennis bubble at Sta-Fit Sartell with even more room for social distancing.
  4. Everything is sanitized -- After you workout, you clean up your own equipment and put it away. There is spray sanitizer everywhere as well as hand sanitizer. Staff at Sta-fit have been putting in extra hours, too, making sure everything is clean and safe to use.
  5. A good workout is good for your immune system -- Diet and exercise is the magic combination to good physical health. Throughout the Six Week Challenge, you will be given guidance on healthy eating, and a great workout to help boost your overall health that will keep your immune system on the right track.

If you are ready to make a change that will benefit your health in every way, I invite you to join me for a class. The next Six Week Challenge starts Nov. 16. If you want more information, call 320-654-9090 or email Brenda at bbraglman@stafitnow.com. See you at the gym.
