ST. CLOUD - Veterans, their families and the community gathered at the St. Cloud VA Friday for an annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

The ceremony featured music from the North Jr. High School Choir and keynote speaker, Cory Vaske.

Vaske served in the Minnesota National Guard for 6 years and he is currently the Stearns County Veterans Service Officer. He says this day represents the sacrifices Veterans have made and still make for our country.

"Today is a day we come together, to recognize and remember the important role Veterans have played and continue to play in the very perseverance of our country, a great republic founded upon the principles of democracy."

The ceremony also included a rifle salute by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 428.
