St. Cloud Man Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize

I'm not sure about you, but as a kid I was sure I'd become a rich lady for winning the lottery one day. Apparently, it's a lot harder than I thought. But, not if you're Robert A Schuh of St. Cloud.

Schuh is currently listed on the Minnesota Lottery's website under the 'winners' category for winning $100,000. That's a pretty big chunk of change. I guess this proves, local people do win...sometimes. We're not sure the exact date that Schuh won his money but it was sometime recently.

Schuh won his big sum of money playing the lottery game 500X. It's the largest amount of money you can win with this particular ticket. It's a game where there are 100 prizes worth $100,000. It's a scratch off game that costs $50 to play.

You could win anywhere from $50 (or your money back) to $100,000. Can you imagine Schuh's excitement and probably disbelief when he won?

It's pretty rare to win the lottery and it doesn't happen to people from St. Cloud that often. However, a few weeks ago another St. Cloud man won a big lottery prize.

Marvin L Koshiol from St. Cloud won a large sum of money playing Northstar Cash. He took home $56,532 by matching a few of the correct numbers in a daily drawing. The drawings happen around 6:15 p.m. and tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on drawing day.

That's so crazy...perhaps now I need to go buy a ticket. They say things happen in 3's.
