It's National Coffee Day, and I thought it might be a good day to see what Yelp thinks are the best Coffee Shops here in central Minnesota. Many of them I've visited, but there are a few that I think I want to add to my list as a special stop.  There are also some that were NOT on Yelps list, which only means that they haven't been rated as such.  Here are YELP's choices for best coffee shops in central Minnesota.

THE LOCAL BLEND      4 1/2 STARS

The Local Blend opened in 2006. They feature homemade, organic, and locally-sourced products.

Talk about loving "Local."  Even the wood in their booths is from local trees; the pottery that they serve their food on has been created by local artists; their honey is produced by local bees, and their coffee is locally roasted.

They have an in house bakery & kitchen. Their menu includes not only coffees, but also muffins, scones, cakes, pizza crusts, soups and more.

They also have a stage where they feature local Musicians and have added beer and wine to their menu.
