Speed Limits Increasing On Area Highways

According to MNDot, four major highways in central Minnesota will be or have already increased their speed limits in certain areas from 55 to 60.

The speeds will be increased on the following area roads as soon as the signs are posted as such. Most of the areas are already posted; but all should be posted by March of 2019. The highways and areas include the following:

• Minnesota Highway 15 between Interstate 94 and Dassell.

• Minnesota Highway 25 between Becker and Brainerd.

• Minnesota Highway 27 between Long Prairie and Little Falls and then East to Interstate 35.

• Minnesota Highway 95 between St. Cloud and North Branch.
