Get Moving This Saturday To Support Special Olympics Minnesota
Special Olympics Minnesota is asking you to get moving. Literally, they’re wanting you to move. This Saturday is another opportunity to support the athletes of the Special Olympics in our state.
The annual “Move for Inclusion” event will be taking place starting at 9am in Edina around Lake Cornelia. The 1.1-mile walk, run or roll is designed to have folks come together who share the common desire to help these athletes have all the things they need to compete and be included.
You can walk the course or run. Participants are also encouraged to bring their bikes if they prefer to pedal, and of course if you’ve got young ones who enjoy a good stroller ride, this is perfect for you and them as well.

Registration starts at 9am, and the walk, run or roll begins around 10:15. Following the featured event there will be music, activities, and health stations on site. Plus, if you want to find out how you can be deeper involved with Special Olympics in Minnesota, there will be folks there to answer those questions for you.
If you raise or donate $50, get a Special Olympics Move for Inclusion T-Shirt. You just need to have that amount raised by this Saturday. They will take cash or checks, or you can mail your check to Special Olympics Minnesota, 900 Second Avenue South, Minneapolis Mn, 55402.
If you can’t make it out on Saturday, but you would like to support this cause, you can join the fun virtually and walk about your property or neighborhood to show that you’re helping these athletes’ dreams come true.
And don’t forget all of your contributions to Special Olympics Minnesota are tax deductible. Find out more here.
