The National Weather Service is confident that Minnesota is in the path of a significant weekend storm, but the question remains as to whether it will deliver rain, ice, or snow (or all of the above) to the St. Cloud area. Stay tuned and get those presents wrapped.

From the National Weather Service this morning: Temperatures will remain mild for the balance of the work week. A storm system remains on track to move northeast across the region during the Holiday weekend. It continues to look like a wintry mix on Christmas morning will change to rain by afternoon around the Twin Cities as well as points east and south. Rainfall amounts may exceed an inch Sunday afternoon and evening, leading to flooding issues. The best chance for snow with this system is to the north and west of Alexandria MN.
