Snow Likely, Then Bitterly Cold
The National Weather Service says we can expect two rounds of snow across Minnesota this week, followed by a bitterly cold weekend. The first shot of show is expected across Central Minnesota on Wednesday, with a second round tracking a bit farther south on Thursday.
High temperatures in St. Cloud will be in the single digits (above or below zero) for the next week beginning Saturday, with lows Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings approaching -20°.
From the National Weather Service tonight: We're still expecting 2 rounds of snow followed by bitterly cold temperatures for the weekend. The best chance for snow on Wednesday will be in central/northern Minnesota and northern Wisconsin. The best chance of snow Thursday will be across southern/eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The entire region will be cold this weekend. Make sure you have a full tank of gas and a charged cell phone when you travel, along with some warm clothes.
