Snap the Perfect “Selfie” at Minnesota State Parks This Summer
Minnesota state parks are adding some new signs to help you get that perfect shot.
While you are out making memories in the wonderful state parks with your friends and family, grab a selfie at one of their Selfie Stations!
We are installing selfie stations at select locations around the state so you and your friends can discover new favorite spots and capture your memories with some amazing scenic backgrounds. If you see a sign, it means there's a fun background nearby for your selfie!
These new additions to the trails also feature and adjustable shelf to set up your mobile device or camera to capture the perfect picture. People are then encouraged to share their selfies with the hashtag #MNStateParkLife or #MNStateTrailLife. You can also upload your photos to the DNR website!
Here is a list of the parks and trails with these new Selfie Stations:
- Itasca State Park
- Heartland State Trail
- Cuyuna Country Sate Recreation Area
- Split Rock Lighthouse State Park
- Gitchi-Gami State Trail
- Interstate State Park
- Luce Line State Trail
- Great River Bluffs State Park
- Root River State Trail
- Blue Mounds State Park
How many can you hit up this summer?
