DON'T FORGET DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME

Daylight Savings Time isn't as big of a deal as it used to be regarding remembering that the time changed again, and you're either one hour early to work, or one hour late. Our handy cell phones automatically update so your alarm should go off at the right time. But are there other issues that you may not have thought about regarding DST?

HEART ATTACKS

There was a study conducted that found that Mondays after time springs forward, hospitals see a 25% increase in heart attacks.

CAR CRASHES

On average, there is an 8% increase in traffic accidents in the days after we lose an hour of sleep.

PROCRASTINATION

Employees might as well stay home. The day after DST, employees apparently spend a lot of time on the internet at work.

STRESS INCREASES

There is a study that shows people's cortisol levels rise when the sunrise is pushed back by an hour!
