Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until Midnight

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until midnight for a large portion of central and southern Minnesota -- including Kandiyohi, Meeker, Sherburne counties (+more), as well as the Twins Cities metro area.

Large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a couple of tornadoes are the main threats tonight.

A Tornado Watch is in effect for the southern-most portion of Minnesota until 10 pm, including areas around Mankato, Owatonna, and Albert Lea.
