Severe Storms Possible Across Minnesota this Afternoon & Evening

The National Weather Service says there's a risk of severe thunderstorms across eastern Minnesota this afternoon and evening. The greatest risk includes the stretch west of Interstate 35.

From the National Weather Service this morning: There's a severe thunderstorm warning for  Douglas County in west central Minnesota, Pope County in west central Minnesota and Eastern Stevens County in west central Minnesota. At 7:14 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ashby to 7 miles northeast of Lake Oliver, moving east at 35 mph. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail are expected with this storm.
