Severe Storms Possible Across Central Minnesota Today & Tonight

After some morning rain today, the National Weather Service says there's a slight risk of severe weather this afternoon in Central Minnesota.

Thunderstorms will be possible again this afternoon through tonight. A few severe storms will be possible, with large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy downpours being the main threats. An isolated tornado will be possible this afternoon as well.

From the National Weather Service this morning: The first round of thunderstorms will push through this morning. Another round will be possible this afternoon and evening. The second round could contain some severe storms capable of large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a tornado or two.
