BREWLASH MEETING

This year has been challenging for everyone; I wonder what it was like as a student in the Culinary program at St Cloud Technical and Community College to try to come up with a way for the community to taste your food ideas in an environment where you can't invite guests to a sit down dinner?

I was lucky enough to be invited by one of the students a few years ago, to sit down for an 8 course meal that the students of the Culinary program put on, and it was amazing.

This year, I was able to try one of the Brewlash events goulash that the students created, and it was as equally amazing.  There were many different hotdishes the students created this year and the one I tried was called the Rueben Ham Hotdish.

I've never had sauerkraut before a few weekends ago, and so this was the first dish I've ever had with sauerkraut in it.

THE EVENT

So we bought  your ticket on line, then they gave you a scannable ticket. Then on the 22nd of October,  you went to the college and got in line, and they had 4 pick up stations set up, they scanned your ticket, and they came back with a bag with the dinner inside, along with a Brewlash glass, fresh bread, a frozen goulash, and recipe cards for all of the goulash creations the students made so you could make them yourself at home...In the bag was also a ticket for you to go to pick up your liquor from a liquor store.
