Sartell Will Face DeLaSalle Wednesday At State Tourney

The Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres will face the #1 team in Class 3A Wednesday at Williams Arena

Sartell-St. Stephen will have to slay a giant to open their first-ever state tournament when they take on DeLaSalle Wednesday morning. The 10 am tip off at Williams Arena pits the 17-12 Sabres against the 27-1 Islanders.

DeLaSalle's only loss of the season happened at the Target Center shootout against Blue Valley Northwest of Kansas. BVNW is currently the #18 team in the entire country and #1 in Kansas.

Sartell reached the tourney with a buzzer beater to top Fergus Falls in the section final Thursday.
