Sartell Summerfest Kicks Off This Weekend

Sartell Summerfest is one of the ultimate signs that summer is upon us! It's time to get your dancing shoes out for the annual street dance and find your favorite lawn chair so you're ready for the parade! Here's the full list of weekend events!

Friday's events;

• Libertyville for kids is a free event with kids activities, inflatables and more at Pine Meadow Elementary. The event goes from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• The Kids 1k Fun Run kicks off at 6 p.m. for kids ages 12 and under. There's a $15 registration fee.

Saturday's events

• The Libertyville parade starts at 10 a.m. The route will follow Riverside Avenue.
• A bike safety rodeo for kids gets is set for 1 p.m. at the Sartell Police Department. Kids can get their bikes checked for safety until 3 p.m.
• Get your dancing shoes ready for the Great River Bowl & Partners Pub street dance from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Radio Nation takes the stage at 5:30 p.m. and Diamondback is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
• Fireworks get underway at 10 p.m. behind Great River Bowl and Partners Pub.

Sunday's events

• Blackberry Ridge Golf Club is offering discounted golfing prices in honor of Sartell Summerfest. Participants can get 18 holes with a golf cart for $19.07 (the year Sartell was founded).
