Calling all animal lovers and ride enthusiasts! Brainerd's Safari Wild's amusement park inside of Safari North Zoo is now open and ready for riders.

The amusement park recently opened on May 8. It's perhaps the perfect stop on your way up north to the cabin or lake this summer.

According to their official Facebook page, they've got a variety of rides that accommodate every age group including young children.

Their 'About' section says, "with clean frequently sanitized rides and daily inspections, we strive to make your day away from home or the cabin as fun and memorable as possible!"

The theme park is offering up unlimited wild ride passes for $14.99 per person (this does not include tickets for the zoo part).

In addition to the new amusement side of the business, they're also a zoo. Guests can feed giraffes, go on a 10-acre safari expedition on a locomotive train ride to see lions, hyenas, bears, monkeys, zebras, wildebeests, bison, eland, nilgai, and more.

They also have a barnyard where you can go in and pet the animals to get a more hands-on experience. If you've got a dinosaur lover in your life, they also have a few dino statues you can take pictures with.

If you're interested in checking it out for yourself, they're open now through October 3rd for the summer season. They're open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You don't need a reservation to visit the zoo.

Zoo only admission for children ages 2 through 12 are $12.99 plus tax. Anyone 13 years and older are $17.99 plus tax.
