Rox Sweep Honkers with Back to Back Shutouts

The St. Cloud Rox (31-33) shutout the Honkers for the second straight night, getting a 9-0 win Friday night in Rochester.

Ben Carew and Ryan Weisenberg each drove in three RBI. Weisenberg belted his fifth home run of the season in the seventh inning, drilling a two-run shot over the left field wall.

Evan Johnson claimed his fourth win in a row, throwing six innings and striking out six batters. Erik Martinez tossed the seventh and eighth innings, striking out two batters. Nate Shoemaker made his season debut in the ninth inning.
